Incidents and accidents can be reported online through web forms. These forms can be custom built by users through a simple application which provides full flexibility when tailoring what information is captured. By using the web to submit reports it means that any web enabled device can be used to quickly report occurrences on the go.
Flexible Occurrence Routing
Occurrence reports can be routed to anyone with a user account in the organisation based on its location, type or severity. The recipient will receive an email notification with details of what has occurred and a link to provide quick access to the secure website.
Collaborative Online Investigation
The occurrence reports are investigated and managed through an online system that allows multiple users to contribute, monitor and reference with any web browsing device.
Unique Linking to Relevant Safety Data
SMART Occurrence provides unique links to other data captured within the SMART Insight package such as hazardous events in the RMS or audit findings in the Auditor amongst others. The aim of this is to assist with analysing a company’s SMS strategy and highlight any necessary changes to maximise company safety and minimise potential risk in various areas of its business.
Remedial Actions Tracked
Following an investigation the system allows the occurrence investigator to create, assign and manage remedial action to any users in the system. Parties invited to complete a resulting action item will receive an email with instructions of their task as well as a link to login and respond when work on the action has begun and been completed.
Reportings and Trending
The system comes with a reporting tool which can create drill-down graphical reports on the fly with options to export images for use in any other publishing program an organisation may use.
